Hemp seed oil is extracted from the seeds of the hemp plant. The seeds do not contain the same level of compounds as the rest of the hemp plant but they still have a rich profile of nutrients, fatty acids and useful bioactive compounds.  We use organic hemp seed grown in Europe and the seeds are cold pressed to preserve the diverse and nutritionally strong oil.

Hemp seed oil is packed full of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents and other essential fatty acids (like gamma linoleic acid - GLA), all of which are known to combat diseases like inflammatory arthritis, cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.  Hemp seed oil also contains the perfect 3-to-1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids, which is considered the optimal ratio for heart and brain health.
